RECRUITMENT and training companies are moving to take advantage of the skills shortage in the oil and gas sector, with a new training scheme from local company Navitas and the establishment of a Perth office by the sector’s largest jobs site among the initiatives.

Scholarship at Murdoch

WASTE industry entrepreneur Peter Jenkins has pledged $180,000 to fund a new scholarship program at Murdoch University for students from the Kwinana area.  The scholarship will be funded by Waste Stream Management, of which Mr Jenkins is chairman.
