Debbie Karasinski
Debbie Karasinski AM has over 30 years of experience in the disability and health industry. She first graduated from Curtin University as an occupational therapist. After working in that profession for ten years and rising to the position of chief occupational therapist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, she moved to the USA where she graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Science.

Ms Karasinski was the chief executive of Senses Australia, and chief executive of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western Australia where she spent ten years and was awarded a Centenary Medal.

From 2002 to February 2004, Ms Karasinski was the chair of the Ministerial Advisory Council for Disability Services and a member of the board of the Disability Services Commission (DSC). This was her second term on the Commission board, serving previously on the inaugural DSC board from 1993 to 1999.

In 2019, Ms Karasinski was made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to people with a disability, and to the community of Western Australia.
