Gower He

Gower Jia He has over 20 years of experience in the resources sector as a mining executive and iron ore, lithium and battery metals industry professional.

Mr He became the chief executive of Summit Minerals in October 2023. Prior to that, he was the chief executive of Equinox Resources, executive director of potential ASX-listed West Australian lithium miner Red Dirt Metals, and had held various senior positions at Mitsui over a 16-year tenure where he oversaw its strategic trade and investment plans across a variety of commodities including iron ore, lithium and other battery related minerals. At Mitsui, Mr He also managed stakeholder management at various levels within the mining industry domestically and internationally; planned and executed divisional strategies to the Australian and Japanese headquarters; managed joint venture engagements including marketing and global partners network, implemented company marketing and operational strategies, managed M&A, stakeholder management and dispute resolutions.
