Raphael Wood has extensive knowledge and experience on all issues in carbon and environmental markets.
In June 2018, Mr Wood founded Market Advisory Group (MAG) and is its managing director. MAG is one of Australia's pre-eminent independent carbon market advisory service providers. Prior to that, Mr Wood had spent 2.5 years as the head of environmental markets with Australia's largest carbon project developer GreenCollar, and 5 years advising the Federal Government on establishing and operating environmental markets within the Clean Energy Regulator's Office. With a professional career that began as an exploration geologist in locations including the jungles of New Caledonia, Mr Wood also spent a decade as a stockbroker and investment advisor.
He holds a Bachelor Science in Geology, and a Postgraduate Diploma of Financial Services from FINSIA.
