Board Moves October 27, 2020

Darren Yeates will be stepping down from the board of Emeco Holdings on 11 November, following his appointment to an executive role at a large international mining company. Mr Yeates has been a non-executive director of Emeco since 2017.  

Andrea Betti has replaced Tony Walsh as company secretary of Magmatic Resources. Ms Betti is an accounting and corporate governance professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting, corporate governance, finance and corporate banking.

Pensana Rare Earths has appointed the Rt Hon Baroness Lindsay Northover PC as non‐executive director. Baroness Northover was the Prime Minister’s former trade envoy to Angola and Zambia, and Africa Minister for the Department for International Development. Pensana’s Longonjo Project in Angola is one of the world’s most sustainable mines, and the company plans to establish the world’s first sustainable magnet metal supply chain in the UK which will supply the burgeoning electric vehicle and offshore wind industries.

Schrole Group, an Australian education technology company, has appointed Guy Perkins as non-executive director. Mr Perkins has held roles at several startups, and has significant experience in establishing and growing Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.
