Agricultural and horticultural group Nufarm is shifting out of Welshpool, putting an office, warehouse and laboratory facility on the market, with the site expected to fetch more than $7.5 million.
Commercial agency Colliers International has launched a marketing campaign for the facility on Welshpool’s Dampier Road, which is expected to garner strong interest from owner-occupiers and developers.
The property also includes an adjoining vacant lot, with the total land area comprising 16,948 square metres.
Colliers International’s Andrew Fife said the lots were being offered for sale separately or in one line.
He said opportunities to secure significant sites with development potential were rare in the area.
“Welshpool is considered one of Perth’s premium industrial locations thanks to its proximity to the CBD, airports and other key infrastructure and its excellent road networks which provide efficient access to the greater metropolitan area,” Mr Fife said.
“There is a clear lack of quality industrial properties available for sale in this precinct, and this is an opportunity for an owner-occupier to secure an outstanding industrial facility in a sought after precinct.”
Offers to purchase the property close on May 22.
