Qantas is upgrading its Perth Airport facilities to align with Australia’s other major airports, kicking off construction of a new domestic business lounge.
The lounge will provide access at the airport’s terminals 3 and 4, while at 1,365 square metres, the facility will cater for more than 350 Qantas business passengers and platinum and platinum one frequent flyers at any given time.
Qantas domestic head of strategy Philip Capps said the lounge would enhance the Qantas precinct across the two terminals and complement improved gate access, faster security screening and quicker check in.
“From a dedicated work zone with meeting room and conference facilities to a dedicated dining area offering a ‘dish of the day’ and an all day barista service, the business lounge will give our most frequent flyers the ability to work or unwind in luxury,” Mr Capps said.
Other features of the lounge include wireless internet, newspapers, magazines and Foxtel television, as well as a full service bar and buffet.
Qantas operates four business lounges in Australia, at Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne airports.
