AICC(WA)'s Technology Series

Part of ISACA International Conference featuring Professor Craig Valli speaking on "Cyber Security - Or why we need to wash our own hands and realise it is not SEP!"

Cyber security is not "Someones Else's Problem"- it's our collective responsibility. In the same way that personal hygiene practice of washing hands plays a large part in protecting us from disease, we can adopt simple measures to prevent opportunities for the pathogens that are the modern cyber criminals from stealing our futures. When was the last time you changed your password and is it complex? Have you ever encrypted one of your documents? Do you encrypt your hard drives? and have you ever stopped and thought is it a good idea to send this is email in the first place, and them clouds do have cyber lightning!

This AICC(WA) Technology Series Breakfast event is part of the 29-31 October ISACA Oceania CACS (Computer Audit, Control and Security) Conference, the premier information and information technology governance event for audit, risk and security professionals in the Oceania region. The conference theme is “Frontiers of ICT Governance” with leading speakers presenting three concurrent streams; Cybersecurity, Governance and Leadership. We look forward to your attendance at the AICC(WA) Breakfast specially hosted by Cisco and encourage you to enrol in the ISACA conference.
