Venue:
Grand Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Perth

CCI proudly invites you to attend this important breakfast event featuring special guest speaker Andrew Forrest, Chairman, Fortescue Metals Group.

Having grown up with First Australians, who helped make him the person he is today, Andrew will talk about his Creating Parity report, the positive impact of employing Indigenous Australians and what it takes to make your Indigenous employment program successful.

This event will also launch the new nation-wide network of Vocational Training and Employment Centres (VTEC) established to deliver up to 5,000 guaranteed jobs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

This revolutionary programme connects Indigenous Australian job seekers with employers who pledge jobs, and ensures they have the skills needed for the role with training and support tailored to the employer’s specifications.

Every job start is potentially life-changing for the Indigenous Australian participant and his or her community, and allows employers to ‘give back’ to the community with the added certainty their VTEC is supporting them through the entire program.

Do not miss this opportunity to hear from one of Australia’s most respected leaders, gain an insight into the opportunities and benefits this unique program offers and find out how your business can benefit from the VTEC model by making a commitment of jobs.

Together we can change lives and create better businesses.
