Work Health and Safety Bill for WA released for public comment.

On 23 October 2014, the Minister for Commerce, the Hon Michael Mischin MLC, tabled in Parliament a “green bill” , the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Bill 2014 (WHS Bill). Public comment on the WHS Bill is open up to 30 January 2015.

IFAP is pleased to bring you IFAP Board Member and Barrister, Maria Saraceni, who will provide attendees with a presentation on how this 'green bill' will impact workplaces in WA. Maria will look at how the content differs from both the Model WHS Bill and existing OSH legislation. Maria will also host a workshop where you will have your chance to voice your opinion about the proposed legislative changes and she will walk attendees through the public comment process.
