Kalia is the parent company of Papua New Guinean registered subsidiary
Kalia Investments Ltd, which holds contractual rights to explore for minerals and
develop mines in the Tinputz district of North Bougainville, Papua New
Guinea which is prospective for gold, copper and other minerals.
In March 2017 Perth company GB Energy announced plans to acquire Kalia in a deal which the ASX did not consider a backdoor listing but which would see Kalia's vendors holding around half of GB post-acquisition.
